The transfer of Michak Kubiak from Halkbank to Panasonic Panthers has shaken the volleyball world in Asia! The Polish star has decided to accept the offer from Japan and for the first time in his career he will be playing in Japan.

I am sure that Panasonic will not be happy with Kubiak,he is not strong player on high ball attack and they mainly need that.

@Joe no, they were looking player with good reception. They’ve already have opposite – Shimizu and he is mainly responsible for attack.

@uhh Like Shimizu is any better than the likes of Grözer, Gasparini, Vissotto and so on. He may be lefthanded but he is not very big nor is he an impressive hitter like the ones mentioned before. Why would they ever need a not-Japanese player with good receivingskills in the first place? Like there are not enough of them there. Compared to the average Japanese receiver in this competition Kubiak isn’t in anything much better than spiking and maybe serving.
