Kolakovic has signed contract until 2020 when are the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
“I am satisfied. People here really love volleyball. Iranian players are technically well trained. Being the coach of this team will be a huge challenge and responsibility“said the former coach of Serbian National team.
Before Kolakovic, coaches of Iran were Jovica Cvetković (2007-2009), Julio Velasco (211-2014), Slobodan Kovac (2014-2015) and Raul Lozano (2106).
