After six years, Jacek Nawrocki resigned from the position of the head coach of the Poland Women’s Volleyball National Team. However, it turned out that he wanted to continue working with the team, but the Polish federation (PZPS) did not agree to the conditions he proposed.
A day after ending collaboration with the PZPS, Nawrocki became the head coach of the country’s club champions Grupa Azoty Chemik Police. It turned out that the 56-year-old expert wanted to combine both functions, assuring that financial issues did not stand in the way of continuing the collaboration. What is more, Nawrocki was ready to give up his salary for running the national team during the league season when the two positions were combined. Ultimately, the PZPS did not agree with such a proposal.
