Grupa Azoty Chemik Police were wrecked in the first set of the second match of the 2021/22 TAURON Liga finals against Developres BELLA DOLINA Rzeszów. The Polish champions managed to get up and after earning the 3-1 victory, they are one step away from defending the title.

Chemik had to cope without the starting setter Marlena Kowalewska. A serious injury sustained in Game 1 will sideline her from volleyball for several months. So, the visiting side had to employ the backup setter, Naiane Rios. It took the Brazilian a while to get together, which Developres took advantage of and clinched the opening set. However, that was all the damage they were capable of committing to the rivals today. Serbian Jovana Brakočević-Canzian top-scored Chemik with 19 points. Iga Wasilewska made 4 blocks. Brakočević-Canzian’s compatriot Jelena Blagojević was Developres’ main player, tallying 17 points.
