Nikola Grbić, the head coach of the Poland National Team, narrowed down the list of players working at the training center in Spała and preparing for the FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship to 15.
Grbić is getting very close to deciding which 14 players will represent Poland National Team in the next World Championship. Fifteen players remained at the disposal of the Serbian expert, pending the final decision which depends on the state of Wilfredo León, as can be understood from his statements. For now, the Cuban-born star is still a part of the group in Spała and Grbić said he’ll announce the ’14’ for the World Champs by the end of the week.
“Wilfredo trains according to his schedule, he isn’t yet ready to participate in training in 6v6. He’s a full member of our group, the Poland National Team. We are happy that he’s with us. We have the opportunity to see how his return to normal is progressing. Will he make it to the World Championship? We’ll see at the end of this week,“ Grbić stated, following León’s worlds that he thinks he’ll be fully ready for the knockout stage at the World Champs.
