Muszynianka vs. Chemik
Despite they remained without several important players from previous season, mostly foreigners, Chemik scored third win in Polish league in three rounds.
In Round 3, Chemik defeated another title contender, Polski Cukier Muszynianka, in straight sets 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-23) with 13 points from Helena Havelková and 12 from Anna Werblińska. Adela Helić led Muszynianka scorers – 12 points.
PGE Atom Trefl Sopot got over last round’s defeat in a derby against Chemik and overpowered KS Pałac Bydgoszcz as visitors 3-1 (25-23, 24-26, 25-20, 25-22).
Katarzyna Zaroślińska scored 17 while Maret Balkestein-Grothues added 14 points in the winning team. Natalia Krawulska’s 23 points weren’t enough for at least one set from Bydgoszcz who remained at 0-2 score.
