“To be quite honest, we did not expect a straight-sets win. We had a kind of a slow start, but we got into the right rhythm pretty quickly and played a truly great game. We were excellent in reception, we had a good serve… It was simply a high-level performance of our team.”
Djurić stated that his team must stay focused, as the championship game is scheduled for less than 24 hours.
“We are a young team. I do not know how times in this season we have had a really good performances, while then we would suffer a terrible fall already in our next game. Therefore, it is important to play like this on Sunday against Zenit Kazan. They are very strong, but we are not afraid. We’ll do our best in the Finals.”
