He is leaving, he is staying, he is leaving, he is staying… So much different info have appeared online lately, that nobody can know for sure whether Stephane Antiga will continue to lead Poland men’s national team. Still, one thing is certain. The Frenchman wants to keep his job.

He did not want to reveal the details about his last meeting with the Polish Volleyball Federation officials, but he said it is possible that he will remain head coach of Poland.

Of course I would like to continue working with Poland. That option is still possible,” said Antiga and then tried to explain why Poland stayed without a medal at the Rio Olympics. “In general we played a good tournament, but it just did not work out in the match against the USA. It is difficult to accept such a defeat. You need to play almost a perfect game in order to beat the USA. It is a pity that one game influenced everything, because I think we have presented a really good volleyball at the Olympic Games. The players were all eager to make a success. Still we failed.”

After the WCH he thought this is it. I’ll be one and dominant, but? He really don’t understand the point. Sport is a moment, sport is a small diference. What he is speaking about. To became an Olympic Champion with one bad day. Imposible. Honestly he is not a coach for a big stories. I dont think that he could became WCH outside of Poland. Specially without Blain. Sorry
