PGE Skra Belchatow defeated Effector Kielce 3:1 (25:19, 25:22, 20:25, 25:22) in the match of the eight round of Plusliga. Jacek Nawrocki rested Aleksandar Atanasijevic, Wytze Kooistra played the central attacker. Mariusz Wlazly played with Michal Bakiewicz instead of Michal Winiarski.

In the fourth PGE got a multipoint advantage fast and won the match. This win moved them to the second place on the table.
