The All-Russian Volleyball Federation (VFV) announced on its official website the end of the Russian Championship for both men and women because of the spread of coronavirus.

The VFV decided at the meeting of its Presidium to prematurely end the 2019/20 Superliga Parimatch in both competitions due to coronavirus pandemic. This followed the suspension from a week ago when there was a slight hope there will the continuation of the leagues.

It was said that the results of the regular season will determine the final ranking of the teams, meaning that Lokomotiv in men’s competition and Dinamo-Kazan in the women’s competition will be considered the new champions.
