Jeff commented his visit to Russia:
Hi, Jeff! Tell us what how you came to Grozny?
“I met with an agent, his name is Anton Brodov. And he said that Grozniy GROZNIY offer me a contract. I had a great offer from Bahrain, financially very profitable, but I decided to came in Russia, this is a great opportunity for me.”
You came to Russia from Puerto Rico. How you collected information about the GROZNIY?
“As soon as I heard about the Russian team I called my good friend Lloy Ball. He spoke with someone in Russia, made inquiries about the agent of GROZNIY. He told me that Anton have good reputation and that the Chechen club is very young. He advised me not to doubt and to pack and go to Russia.”
You have already made your debut in the Super League. Can you share your first impressions?
“Russian league is amazing! Here play great players, volleyball players with great skills. Everybody says that the Russian league is strongest in the world and I fully agree with this.”
What can you say about his new team?
“I see that with the team I was lucky. I am very pleased. We are a young team with no superstars. We put a hundred percent.”
Can you estimate the prospects of Grozny?
“I see that we can stay in the Super League for next season. We will have a lot of hard exercise and with each passing day the team gets better.”
How long will you stay here?
“I have contract for the rest of the season. But I feel I can stay here longer and show a high level of volleyball.”
