RUS W: Gamova had a car crash in Russia, but goes out uninjured

One of the best volleyball players in the world, Ekaterina Gamova suffered a car accident in Russia. The athlete, 2.02 m tall, drove through the city of Kazan, where she plays for Dinamo Kazan, and was involved in a collision with another vehicle and the car was badly damaged. Nevertheless, she was not injured.

According to local police, Gamova drove an SUV model when it was hit by a car going 80km/ h. The driver was driving intoxicated, and was the one who caused the crash.

Witnesses said the man involved in the crash tried to flee the scene. However, the police arrived on time and managed to arrest the driver.

Despite the result of the accident, Gamova was not injured“, the police said. “Even so, her car was quite destroyed“, explained the corporation.

Dinamo Kazan confirmed that Gamova did not suffer any serious injuries in the crash, and even now resumed normal life.
