Yaroslavich have won the second league which automatically means that they will replace the last placed team in the elite league Orenburg.

The team of Yaroslavich is not a stranger in the Russian elite volleyball league. The team has been created by the current head coach of the Russian men’s national team Sergey Shlyapnikov. For the first time in their history they played in the Russian Super league in season 1999/2000.

The journey lasted until the 2013/2014 season, with one break (season 2006/2007). The best achievement of Yaroslavich is the fourth place in the Super League.
