Yenisei Krasnoyarsk defeated Proton Saratov in a tie-break (32-30, 12-25, 25-20, 24-26, 15-13) while Uralochka NTMK defeated Zarechie Odintsovo 3-1 (25-13, 26-24, 23-25, 25-19).
Kseniia Ilchenko Parubets scored 26 points for Uralochka while Tatiana Iurinskaia scored 22 points for Zarechie.
Winners from the series will play in the semifinal of the Russian championship.
