If they want to make up to their fans, Serbian players need to win at least one match out of two against the hosts, Italy, on Friday and Sunday.
„This is a special competition. You train little, but play a lot. Anyway, as long as the conditions are equal for all, there is nothing to be complained about. I do not mean that our work is still in progress, but it is clear that a whole new coaching staff needs the right amount of time. Especially, because the new things that we are working on begin to be visible on the field. I am satisfied with a half of what we have done in Brazil in the first two games of World League,“ stated the head coach of Serbia, Nikola Grbić at the press conference in Pesaro.
„I hope that against Italy, our approach will be like it was in the first game versus Brazil and not like in the first two sets of the second game. I will demand from my players to give their best and the court will determine if it will be enough for the win,“ Grbić revealed the recipe for the win against Italy.
