WL: Serbian fans show their support

The Serbian volleyball team claimed a fifth victory in the 2015 edition of the FIVB Volleyball World League on Sunday when they defeated Italy in front of 6500 fans. After the match, the players were joined by the fans, who celebrated their victory by taking photographs with their favourite athletes.

Serbia played their 2015 World League matches at the “SPC Vojvodina” hall of sports in Novi Sad and at the “Pionir” hall of sports in Belgrade, where they performed in front of a total audience of 40500 spectators, an average of 6750 per game.

Their matches against Brazil were attended by 16600 spectators (8100 in Novi Sad and 8500 in Belgrade). Serbia versus Australia attracted 10100 spectators (6000 in Novi Sad and 4100 in Belgrade), while the matches against Italy were watched live from the stands by 13800 fans (7300 in Novi Sad and 6500 in Belgrade).
