With the club President Jörg Dittrich sitting together with the fans and playing the drums there, the home players started well and dominated the game in the opening set (25-15). MULHOUSE got back on track in set 2 maintaining a good margin until the end (20-25). The guests played well also in the third set (0:3, 5:10) and eventually went for the 1:2 (22-25). MULHOUSE was not to stop also in set 4 eventually being able to win its first game in the group.
