“This is a very important match for us” says coach Luciano Pedullà.
“A win could help us finish first or second in the group and get a good draw for the next stage. Our opponent is improving: they have very good players like for instance Ana Bjelica and Bojana Radulovic, being also solid in serving and blocking. They are the current leaders in their national league and we shall take this game with the right approach and attitude. We did so as we played in Serbia and we eventually won in three sets. We need a good result before going to Moscow next week for the last round of the prelims”.
Scavolini is currently ranked first in Pool E with 9 points but being chased by Bank BPS Fakro MUSZYNA (8) and Dinamo MOSCOW, so no distractions are allowed while taking on the “Red Stars”.
