After a great season in France and promotion with her former team Quimper in LAF, experienced Brazilian Outside Hitter/Receiver Juliana Ribeiro Escobar, despite the offers from several European clubs, choose Greece and the historical team of Vrilissia to be her new home for this season.
Juliana said: “My agency brought me offers from France, Italy, Greece and Cyprus. My friend and last year’s teammate in Quimper Maria Lamprinidou told me a few things a needed to hear about the life in Greece and the championship after the economical crisis. The people of the club and especially the representative of the sponsor analyzed me their future plans for the club, I discussed it with my manager and I agree immediately. I live in Greece from the end of August; practicing with my new club and I realized that despite the financial crisis this year’s championship will be much better and more competitive. I am happy to be a part of this team andI will do my best to help them accomplish their goals and expectations for this season”.
