Petar Đirlić and Nemanja Petrić are set to continue the current volleyball season in Qatar.
Đirlić has inked a deal with Police SC, the reigning champions of the Emir Cup and runners-up in the 2021/2022 season. On the other hand, Petrić is expected to join Al Ahli SC to assist the team in their bid to reach the finals of the Qatar League, Qatar Cup, and Emir Cup.
Đirlić, who played for Top Volley Cisterna during this season, was able to move to Doha for the rest of the season after mutually terminating his contract with the Italian club. Meanwhile, Petrić, a regular member of the Serbian national team and a prominent figure in the volleyball world, decided to sign with Al Ahli SC after an unsuccessful stint with Siena in Italy. At Al Ahli, Petrić will team up with Aleksey Spiridonov, a Russian player who has already spent three seasons in Qatar.
