BUL M: Player from Uganda signs contract with Marek Dupnitsa

883 0

The 21-year old player from Uganda is going to play in the Bulgarian volleyball league!

Katarb Maling has signed a contract with Marek Union Ivkoni Dupnitsa.

“Malinga has excellent qualities that need to be developed. He is our favorite player and we have already started working on his visa to provide for him the right to play in our league as soon as possible,” says Lyudmil Naydenov, the club manager.

I’m very pleased with the fact that I can play in Bulgaria. I know only nice things about Dupnitsa and in these previous two weeks I saw the excellent conditions here. I’m doing everything I can to get better and I can’t wait to play. However, the procedure of getting the necessary documents needs more time. I will be playing as the outside hitter or the opposite. It’s all up to coach,” says Katarb Malinga.

TUR W: Ognejnovic to replace Nootsara in Fenerbahce!?

If Tomkom is kept for next season (though that seems unlikely in my opinion). Fenerbache should think of getting one of her younger NT member as a receiver/wing spiker back up. Even though they aren't as tall as their European counter part, they can receive well and attack too. I'm sure they would be cheaper to higher than most other European options or are they? lol...And they already have a connection with Nootsara, so maybe they can play some fast balls every now and then to score a few quick points too.
