This result proves how much France miss the best player Earvin Ngapeth. He is still not fully fit and he missed the game which was a sign for Belgium to attack with a full throttle!
Since the beginning of the match, Red Dragons showed more desire for the victory. France barely managed to force the fifth set and there, Belgium were unstoppable.
It paid off as they scored an important victory at the start of the championship. Bram van den Dries (24 points) and Sam Deroo (20) created this great victory of Vital Heynen’s side.
Stephen Boyer had a good display, finishing the game with 24 points.
