COVID-19 spoiled the big match of Round 6 of the 2020/21 PlusLiga regular season.

Due to having positive cases of the virus within their club, Jastrzębski Węgiel were unable to challenge PGE Skra Bełchatów although they already arrived at the match. Furthermore, the Jastrzębie-Zdrój team lost the organization of the tournament for the 2nd qualifying round of the 2021 CEV Champions League (October 13-15) for the same reason. The Skra vs Jastrzębski duel was the third match valid for Round 6 of PlusLiga that had to be canceled.

In the only remained match of the round that took place, Ślepsk Malow Suwałki beat Cuprum Lubin by a 3-1, deepening the agony of the rivals who are at the last place on the table with 0-5.
