Nataliya Goncharowa was the top scorer of the game with 19 points, while on the winning side Lonneke Sloetjes scored 15, Zhu Ting 13 and Kubra Akman 10.
Volero have managed to defeat reigning champions Eczacibasi without losing a set in the game 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 26-24).
Olesia Rykhliuk was the best player in Volero with 16, while Tijana Boskovic ended a game with 17 points on the other side.
The Brazilian side Osasco have also scored a victory in the first match at Club World Championship tournament, beating Japanese side NEC Red Rockets in straight sets 3-0 25-11, 25-17, 25-19.
