American players (limit for foreigners – maximum 25 years of age and 3 years of professional experience) were selected via tryout in Anaheim and afterwards by the draft.

The worst placed teams in the regular part of the last season had the right to choose as first.

These are the results of the draft in Korean V-League:

KGC Daejeon: Hayley Spelman (Zeta System Urbino Volley/ITA)

Seoul GS Caltex Kixx: Katherine Bell (University of Texas)

Pink Spiders: Taylor Simpson (University of Colorado)

Suwon Hyundai Engineering & Construction: Emily Hartong (Volero Zürich/SUI)

IBK Altos: Liz McMahon (Illinois)

Hi-pass Zenith Korea Expressway: Leslie Cikra (University of Tennessee)

Therefore, all the foreign players that participated in Korean championship in the season 2014/2015 are on the market: Joycinha, Eckerman, Rourke, Rahimova (probably goes to Japan), Hooker and Fawcett.

Hear the statement of Katherine Bell, the new player of GS Caltex, after the draft:

[Welcome Khat Bell]15-16시즌 GS칼텍스와 함께 할 Khat Bell선수가 팬 여러분께전하는 인사말 입니다! ‘GS칼텍스라는 좋은 팀에 와서 기쁘고 기대가 된다’ 라고 하는데요 페북지기 역시 이번시즌 기대됩니다!!#뜻밖의_영어듣기평가

AXE, I believe it only applies for the women’s league, at least for the next season. It seems very bizarre to me that they only let Americans play for their league.
