Yesterday, on October 27, Iranian VF has organized a press conference for a head coach Kovač .He also had a meeting with Federation President, Secretary General and Team Manager. One or two more sessions will be held.
On a press conference, Kovač stated that he’s not completely sure of continuing his job, but as our source on the scene revealed, Serbian expert will remain on his position and will provide his services as the head coach until the end of a qualification tournament for Olympic Games in Rio.
He accepted responsibility for bad performances of the national team, but gave support to his coaching staff.

Kovac will leave iran tonight and Davarzani said ‘ we check all options available and even, if necessary, negotiations with different coaches. we find the best solution up to ten days to announce our final decision.
Acording to the website of Iran Volleyball federation. Kovac is leaving Tehran tonight. He had second round of talking with Authorities of Iran Volleyball Federation. In to days’ meeting Davarzani Pressidetn,Ahmad Ziaee Vice President, Mahmoud Afshardoost Secretary Generaal, Kovac and Reza Chalenghar as the Serbian translator were present. Nothing has come out from the meeting.meeting. Davarzani said: in 10 days’time we would have make decision. We have not talked with any foreign coach till this moment.
I would add that as reports,Federation had contacted with Program mangers of Andrea ANASTAZI. And he has contract with a polish club named Lotos Trefl Gdańsk for more 2 years. In Iran Volleyball Federation the key decision maker is president Davarzani. I say this as experience of Ex press director and ex International Affairs Director of Iran Volleyball Federation.
Maybe you should try to talk with Castellani Daniel, he is a good coach and he also doesn’t have any national team to coach. It will be very difficult for Iranian Federation to find good coach not working anywhere…
