The four-time men’s volleyball defending champions of Russia, Zenit Kazan, extended the contract for another season with an American outside hitter Matthew Anderson.
The next season will be Anderson’s sixth in the jersey of Zenit. During that time, a 30-year-old U.S. national team member won CEV Champions League three times, FIVB Club World Championship one time, and Russian Superliga, Russian cup, and Russian Supercup three times each.
All in all, Anderson played 223 matches for Zenit, so far. His stats when it comes to average points were the best in his second season with the Russian powerhouse.
