Kiraly announced 18-woman list for the start of preparations in 2017 and, after more than a year, the middle blocker Tori Dixon got a chance to compete for her place in the U.S. NT roster at some big tournament. She has fully recovered from the ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) injury which she suffered in January 2016 while performing for Japanese Toray Arrows.
Besides these 18, Kiraly will add eight more players, who have just finished their seasons abroad and will have additional time to rest themselves, to the training: Kim Hill (VakıfBank/TUR), Jordan Larson and Rachael Adams (Eczacıbaşı/TUR), Kelsey Robinson and Nicole Fawcett (Imoco/ITA), Carli Lloyd and Lauren Gibbemeyer (Casalmaggiore/ITA) and Foluke Akinradewo (Volero/SUI).
