OLYMPIC GAMES W: Ross and Klineman win gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics

April Ross and Alix Klineman (USA) are winners of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after winning the women’s beach volleyball final against Mariafe Artacho and Taliqua Clancy (AUS) 2-0 (21-15, 21-16). They lost just one set in seven matches played during the tournament. The silver medal goes to Mariafe Artacho and Taliqua Clancy of Australia. This is their first Olympic medal and third overall for their country, after gold in Sydney in 2000 and bronze medals by Natalie Cook and Kerri Pottharst of Atlanta in 1996.

The bronze went to Anouk Verge-Depre and Joana Heidrich from Switzerland. They won bronze medal match vs. Tina Graudina and Anastasija Kravcenoka (LAT) 2-0 (21-19, 21-15)
