Lloyd spent two seasons in Busto Arsizio but last summer was transferred to Conegliano, so the upcoming game will be very special for her.
“Palayamamay is a very nice gym where to play elite Volleyball and there is always a great atmosphere there” Lloyd said about the venue of all home matches played by Unendo Yamamay. “I know that this is no longer my home but I will go into this game with the same emotions I got to feel every time I played for Unendo Yamamay. I love this sport and I am just excited to play this match.”
Prosecco Doc–Imoco CONEGLIANO will be trying to follow up on their home victory from last week where in their CL debut they beat Turkey’s giant Galatasaray Daikin ISTANBUL at the tie-break. “I think the atmosphere will be great there. I expect there will be a terrific ambiance on Tuesday night as we play Unendo Yamamay. Every single match is very important and it does not really matter who is standing on the other side of the net. I am sure that this is a very important game for both teams” Lloyd added.
Questioned about the potential and strengths of their upcoming opponent, Lloyd said: “I haven’t had the opportunity to follow their team very closely up to now but I know they have a strong defence and play well also in attack. They have a young team that hasn’t been together for a long time but I think they have already showed what they are capable of in their first matches this season.”
