In the opening match of the 33rd round of the Korea Championship, two teams competing for a spot in the playoffs faced each other.

Seoul Wooricard Wooriwon defeated Suwon KEPCO Vixtorm in straight sets and thus pulled 3 points ahead of their direct rivals in the fight for third place. Wooricard is currently in third place with 50 points while KEPCO Vixtorm is in fourth place with 47. The point difference is important because of the playoff format, where the top-ranked team proceeds directly to the final, the second-ranked team advances to the semifinal, and the third-placed team reaches the semifinals only if the points difference compared to the fourth-placed team is more than 3 points. Otherwise, a one-match game decides the second semifinalist between the third and fourth-ranked teams.

Veteran Liberman Agámez shone again, leading his team to an important victory with 26 points (63% attack). Thijs ter Horst was the most effective player for the losing team with 14 points (41% attack).
