WoV in Florence – The Purple City
As a city which is considered to be the birthplace of Renaissance, Florence has always been place where colors simply flourished. But, since 1926, many things have changed. Slowly, all of the colors became insignificant. All, except one – the purple one! That was the year when ACF Fiorentina was founded. And, purple is the symbol of this local football club, which is widely popular in whole Tuscany region. Over the years, it became the symbol of the Florence as well, making it - The Purple City.
