Dominican Republic – Japan 2-3 (21-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-23, 12-15)
Great example of sportsmanship and respect towards the game of volleyball and the competition that World Championship is, was shown by both teams tonight. Game had no importance but both Japan and Dominican Republic played their hearts out and presented real competition.
After five sets, Japan was just a bit better to win this game and go home with their heads high.
