Going by national statistics, volleyball can be said to be one of the most popular sports in colleges within the US.

Many students enjoy watching or playing this game of the hands and arms—at least for the better part. Students are now back from long break and, soon enough, their teams will be participating in various volleyball tournaments around the country.

Whether you are looking to catch a top tier volleyball contest or to flaunt your volleyball skills where summer never ends, this list of top 4 top-of-the-league college volleyball arenas will help you decide where to go this season. NB: these are also some of the most amazing college level volleyball training facilities in the US;

1. The University of Minnesota Volleyball Arena

The University of Minnesota arguably has the best volleyball arena in the league of college volleyball arenas within the states. It’s a great venue for players and spectators alike. The court is designed with cutting-edge precision surrounded by a breathtaking spectator area with an impeccable sitting arrangement. It is also made up of good quality lighting that always makes the space to look just as lively as the Royal Vegas Casino, which we all know for cutting-edge lighting. Add this to ample space and you get the right ambiance for watching the sport of volleyball.

2. The University of Wisconsin Fieldhouse

Wisconsin Fieldhouse Volleyball

The University of Wisconsin Fieldhouse is my second most impressive arena on my list of the top 4 college volleyball arenas that I have so far been to. The place originally nicknamed ‘The Barn’ has a history about it that includes volleyball legends. It is characterized by an incredibly smooth court with enough room for players to chase down the ball and push it back towards their opponents. The area around it is surrounded by a beautiful sitting arrangement which offers sufficient space for fans to watch their favorite sport without having to worry about congestion. Also, the breath-taking lighting comprising high-quality LED displays around the court and the LED bulbs cleverly installed above it create an arena experience you will never forget. In fact, the arena is just as bright as the Royal Vegas Casino at night.

3. The University of Illinois Huff Hall

The University of Illinois volleyball arena takes up the third position on my list of top 4 college volleyball arenas that I have visited. Comfort for the fans is what puts Huff Hall at the third position. Although the court is not as large as the Wisconsin University volleyball arena’s court, it is surrounded by high-quality seats offering unrivaled comfort—the comfort you will hardly find in other major volleyball arenas out there. Air quality is also great, thanks to the university’s investment in state-of-the-art air ventilation systems, which ensures the hall offers an incredible atmosphere for playing or watching the game.

4. California University of Pennsylvania Convocation Center

Covering more than 142,000 sq ft with a sitting capacity exceeding 10,000, the Convocation Center is one of the largest college league volleyball arenas in Pennsylvania, CA. Featuring a removable hardwood surface, along with high-tech audio and visual systems among other state-of-the-art arena facilities, the Center is one of the top venues where you can catch some epic volleyball action between top league colleges and universities from across the nation. And by the way, it also has got some nice training facilities for those who would like to perfect their skills in the game.

Conclusion

We know there are plenty more high-quality college-league volley arenas out there, but so far, these are the ones that I have been to. Know of any other topnotch arena? Please comment below and contribute to our discussion.
