ACCH W: Kazakhstan is ready to host Asian Club Championship

The city of Oskemen in Kazakhstan will host the 2018 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship from July 11 to July 18.

Nine teams have been divided into three pool with three teams.

Pool A: Supreme Chonburi VC (THA), Jiangsu (CHN), NEC Red Rockets (JPN)

Pool B: Altay VC (KAZ), Sarmayeh Bank (IRI), CMFC  (TPE)

Pool C: Garuda (INA), Lanka Lions (SRI), VTV Binh Dien Long An (VIE)

Sri Lanka and Iran are the two lowest level teams in this competition. Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Indonesia and Taiwan are pretty much similar levels. Group A are the top 3 teams and those 3 are most likely to be at the podium in unknown orders at the end. But it would be nice/interesting surprise to see some of the underdog teams beat the top Group A teams and finish top 3.
