Brazil has easily defeated Bugaria in straight sets 3-0 (25-19, 25-22,25-16) with excellent performances of Sheila (15 points) and Fabiana (13). In Bulgarian team Elitsa Vasileva scored 14 points, but it was not enough for at least one set.
Belgium has written down even more convincing victory. Squad of Gert Van De Broek has crushed Cuba with 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-16). Laura Heyrman made 13 points, while Lise Van Kecke and Els Vandesteene added 11 each. On the other side Melissa Teresa Vargas Abreu scored 15 points for Cuba.
