Thaisa Daher explained why she will not remain in Osasco via her Facebook account:
“We have already made a deal about my new contract, but then the club management contacted my agents and offered a substantial less money in comparison to that agreement that we had made before. From that moment, it was impossible to continue with negotiations. I am very sad to leave a project that I have always indentified with, and I am even more sad because I haven’t received any phone call or a message from the club management.
Still, I will always be very grateful to our fans with whom I have made a very special connection during these 8 years.
Right now, my focus is only on the Brazilian national team. At the same time, I will be looking at the offers from Brazil and from abroad and then decide in peace what is the best for me.”
