In their first match, Imoco Volley outplayed the Russian giant with 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-17) and took the lead before the match in Russia.
Interesting, Italian team won its opponents with a good serve and better block but also with 52% in attack. The Croatian player Samanta Fabris was the main scorer with 18 points although Samantha Bricio Ramos with 67% in attack scored 10 points. MVP of the match was Raphaela Folie who scored 8 points (7-6 attack, 2 blocks).
On Dinamo Kazan side, it seems that Vasileva (who operated right shoulder) really missed them. Nataliya Mammadova scored 14 and Irina Voronkova 13 points which weren’t enough for the win.
The next match is scheduled for April 4 in Kazan.
