A team of coach Guidetti outplayed their hosts in straight sets (25-17, 25-22, 25-21) and we can say that they are very close to secure the Final Four in Romania.

In the re-match Vakifbank will be the host and that match will decide the winners. The match is scheduled for April 5 in Istanbul.

But before that match, take a look at today’s match. Vakifbank outplayed Volero ZURICH after 78 minutes mostly thanks to good block (11 Vakifbank/5 Volero) and Milena Rašić dominated in that element with 5 blocks (11 points in total). The best scorers of the winning team were Zhu Ting and Lonneke Slöetjes who both scored 14 points.

On the Swiss side, the team scored 21 clear errors and Mira Todorova was the only player who gave resistance and scored 16 points.

vakif girls played with 20% of their capacities and they beat zurich without giving any set. they could not concentrate on the game because their opponent was quite weak. btw, milena girl you are the best!

Volero only got to this stage because it was ‘helped’ by Alba Blaj, also known as ‘Little Volero’!
