“I would be much more relaxed, much more balanced with more opportunities to travel, hang out with friends and do some interesting things. With less adrenaline, less emotion and less drama,” explains Stoytchev.
The most difficult moment in career
“The first year in Italy. I arrived, we began working with a team that was formed literally a week before the start of the championship. We completed four or five training sessions together and started the championship. At the same time, unfortunately, my mother was already very ill. My mother was a motor in the family. She died from a cancer. Eight years we fought against this disease. It happened during the playoffs in Italy during my first season. After the semi-final game I took the plane to Sofia and I managed to see her alive. The next day, she passed away. After the funeral, I had to play final matches. She wanted to see me as a champion of Italy. She needed one more week to fulfill that dream…”
