WCH 2018 W: Dutch girls beat Germany after long four sets

The Netherlands had a very hard match at the beginning of the 2018 FIVB World Championship in Pool A.

After four sets the Dutch girls finished the match as the winners and their opponents at the opening were Germany. During the whole match teams were equal but in the important moments, the Netherlands showed their power.

Lonneke Slöetjes was the best scorer of the match with 36 amazing points while Louisa Lippmann scored 24 points for Germany.

Russia  Trinidad & Tobago 3-0 (25-21, 25-11, 25-12)

USA – Azerbaijan 16:10 (09:10)

Korea – Thailand 19:20 (12:20)

Pool D

Brazil – Puerto Rico 3-0 (27-25, 25-12, 25-7)

Serbia – Dominican Republic 16:10 (09:10)

Kazakhstan – Kenya 19:20 (12:20)
