The anticipation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games has been building toward peak excitement as there are 500 days remaining until the beginning of the planetary most popular sporting event.

The organizers are busily working on the construction and reconstruction of facilities that will host competitors from all over the world. To show the progress they have made, the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games posted a video on its social media on the current state of the venues including Ariake Arena that will host both men’s and women’s Volleyball tournament, starting July 25.

Ariake Arena is designed to hold 12,000 spectators and is one of the six new venues that will be built ahead of the Summer Olympics in the capital city of Japan. Building Ariake Arena is expected to cost around $320 million and will be done in late 2019. After the Games, the arena will become a new sporting and cultural center of Tokyo.
