In the second match of the day, Brazil faced a challenging start but quickly found their rhythm and dominated Germany. The South Americans clinched a well-deserved 3-1 victory.
Brazil’s comeback in the opening set set the tone for their success, ultimately resulting in a 26-24, 25-16, 19-25, 25-15 triumph over Germany. Alan de Souza shone on the court, leading the team with an impressive 19 points. Otávio Pinto also made a significant contribution with 11 points for the Brazilians.
Germany had their own standout performer in opposite Linus Weber, who led the match with 21 points. Moritz Reichert and Anton Brehme also made notable contributions with 14 points each, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Brazil’s dominance.
