GP 2017: Thailand crushed Brazil for the first time in Grand Prix

For the first time ever in World Grand Prix, Thailand outplayed Brazil and not just took a win, they crushed them in three sets 25-22, 25-21, 29-27!

Thailand’s captain Pleumjit Thinkaow and Ajcharaporn Kongyot again were the top scorers of the winning team with 13 and 18 points while Tandara Alves Caixeta dominated the charts on Brazil’s side with 16 points.

After the match Thai super star Kongyot said: “I’m really happy to win today. It was such a tough match and we tried to avoid making simple mistakes. Our veteran players led us younger players really well, and I think that was great.”
