The “Team Yavbou” downed WGCC 2017 hosts in straight sets in Nagoya, nailing them to the very bottom of the rankings with 0-2 and 0-6 set-ratio.

France’s coach Laurent Tillie introduced a combined lineup for this match, giving the chance to the 19-year-old Barthélémy Chinenyeze and 21-year-old Daryl Bultor.

Exactly, Chinenyeze stood out as the best scorer of the match along with Trévor Clévenot as they both made 14 points, but which is more important, he made 5 out of 11 kill blocks of France! In Japan, Takashi Dekita scored 14 points as well.
