WL: Rouzier is a key man – France wins thriller vs Argentina

In an exciting battle, France achieved an opening win in the 2014 FIVB World League over hosts Argentina by a 3-2 (20-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-22, 15-12) margin in front of over 4,000 fans at Polideportivo Torito Rodríguez in Mendoza.

Antonin Rouzier entered the court during the first set and turned out to be vital for the French success, scoring 21 points and providing a double comeback for his side. French blocking was also unstoppable as the team earned 17 points, with five kills by Nicolas Marechal and four from Franck Lafitte.

For the home team, Federico Pereyra and Facundo Conte topped the charts with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
