The Serbian receiver has won the Chinese Championship with Shanghai, while then he accepted the offer from Paris.
“The level of volleyball in China is not that high as in Italy or France, but it is not easy to play there. There are two games per week, and it is hard because you do not have time to rest. Therefore, I wanted to make a break. I would not have accepted to go to Qatar for example. But, at the end I decided to come to Paris, because it is a good club and a nice city” said Kovačević for actuvolley.com.
