After Tanja Grbić, who arrived in RC Cannes from St. Raphael, the most famous French volleyball club completed two more transfers this summer.
The new players of RC Cannes are Mariana Aquino (Brazil, middle blocker) and Vedrana Jakšetić (Croatia, setter).
Aquino comes from Turkey where she played for Yesilyurt in the 2015/16. It was her first year in Europe, as before that she played volleyball in USA for UCLA. Aquino even won the NCAA title with the UCLA back in 2011 and became the first Brazilian player to achieve something like that.
Jakšetić is a talented Croatian setter, who was named the MVP of the Croatian Championship in the 2015/16 season. She comes from Poreč.
