“My knees hurt in the German winters, but it’s much, much better than last year“ Erika de Sousa said.
The 31 year-old player has a lot of experience. She played for Vicenza, where she won the CEV CUP. After that she played for Castelo da Maia and CV Albacete. She then stopped playing.
VC Wiesbaden contacted her and she is happy that it turned out the way it did. “The language was a big problem” she said.
Andreas Vollmer commented her growth: “She speaks pretty good German. Communication in training and games works now.“
“Of course I am still not in the same place I was 10 years ago, but I am enjoying my time in Wiesbaden” Erika concluded.
