VfB Friedrichshafen made its title ambitions clear during the recent play-off games in an impressive way. After Häfler, VfB prevailed in the quarter finals against evivo Düren (3:0 / 3:0), and then in the semis against Generali HACHING (3:1 / 3:0 / 3:2) .
“We want to keep the final open and continue where we left off against Haching“, emphasizes VfB libero Nikola Rosic. But the BR Volleys believe in their chance of defending the title, as Mark Lebedew confirmed: “We are through the first place in the main round and this is resulting in home advantage. We have been working hard since August last year. That is why we are so confident”.
